I use Autosol on my chrome parts aqnd it does the job well. I found this on my internet travels

looks intresting and you can have a wee vodka and coke onc3e your done.

Well I've used the silver foil idea before on pushbike rims that had gone rusty but only AFTER I'd cleaned them with SolVol etc. The idea was that the foils came off and 're-chromed' the rusty parts.
Never heard of this Diet Coke as a lubricant/cleaner though.

I will try this on my KH125, as it has rust spots showing through the chrome on all surfaces. Till now I have used a brass brush [by hand] to take the rust spots off, but it needs another going over soon, as the damaged chrome starts to rust again.

will see how coke and tin foil work and report back - Thanks for the tip
