Hello From Suffolk

Post by bealsey »

Hello, Just bought my VTR at the weekend, love the sound of the big V. Its now stripped down in the garage awaiting its new parts and a big clean, paint job etc ready for next spring.
Hope to see a few people when the weather is a bit nicer!

I'm from BSE!! Definately full of Mad cows though! Seems like a few people from Norwich, i go there quite a bit so would be good to have a few more rides out that way. Many people go to Seastars much (I know its not honda!)?

Hi there and welcome to the site, mine is getting stripped as well typical maintenance head bearings, fork seals, see the list of bits I have chosen to do -

one thing I can mark off, I have just bought a NWS ghost hugger for 38 quid, retail 120.

Apart from the wheels needing a repaint, well the back one mainly the rest of your bike looked in good condition before you started to strip it down

Do keep us up to date with the mods you intend to carry out,

Chris.

It looks pretty good in the pics, but the back end was made up of cable ties and wood, the undertray was stuck together with duct tape, bit of a sorry state!
Just received VFR800 Swinger and wheel, Ducati 916 rear end, new welder and pipe bender, good old ebay to the rescue!!
