sp1 exaust on storm
sp1 exaust on storm
may sound like a silly qeustion but could it be possible to fit sp1exausts to my storm many thanks .gaz
97 model ,black, plus 2 rear sprocket ,double bubble screen ,rentec sports rack.......much more to come
Re: sp1 exaust on storm
Nope, they don't fit.
When I bought mine it had carbon cans on but the seller let me have the "original" cans.
Turns out they were for an SP1, and they're not even close....
But you get a good price on E-blag for them.
You can get some made up that'll look the same, if that's what you're after, or you may be able to cut the link pipes shorter and have some new link pipes made up.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Re: sp1 exaust on storm
The Burning question though...Why would you want to???
The SP pipes weigh a ton and they flow completely differently than the Firestorm, which means you are going to have to re-jet just to maintain the same performance. Why not just get some good aftermarket pipes for the Storm?

Re: sp1 exaust on storm
I've got a very decent set of SP1 pipes in the garden shed if you want them. Though, as Pete.L says, they weigh as much as a small horse each.

Re: sp1 exaust on storm
yeh i emailed blueflame and got a reply of £115 plus vat, plus delivery! just for the baffles!
thats why im looking for a cheap set of standard cans, not bothered on condition/looks as long as there quiet enough for track

No worries, just a thought. Oh! mine came in at 100db's the last time I had it checked on track with the std pipes oncheers bud but think i'll stick with goin down the standard can route, only 10min job to swap em over, plus they'll get through any DB check
