sp1 exaust on storm

may sound like a silly qeustion but could it be possible to fit sp1exausts to my storm many thanks .gaz
97 model ,black, plus 2 rear sprocket ,double bubble screen ,rentec sports rack.......much more to come

Nope, they don't fit.
When I bought mine it had carbon cans on but the seller let me have the "original" cans.
Turns out they were for an SP1, and they're not even close....

But you get a good price on E-blag for them.

You can get some made up that'll look the same, if that's what you're after, or you may be able to cut the link pipes shorter and have some new link pipes made up.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

The Burning question though...Why would you want to???
The SP pipes weigh a ton and they flow completely differently than the Firestorm, which means you are going to have to re-jet just to maintain the same performance. Why not just get some good aftermarket pipes for the Storm?

I've got a very decent set of SP1 pipes in the garden shed if you want them. Though, as Pete.L says, they weigh as much as a small horse each.

Dunno really....make me an offer i cant refuse :lol: .

They're bloody heavy though.....would you not be better getting some baffles made up for the Blueflames?

yeh i emailed blueflame and got a reply of £115 plus vat, plus delivery! just for the baffles! :eek2 thats why im looking for a cheap set of standard cans, not bothered on condition/looks as long as there quiet enough for track :wink:

I bought firestorm link pipes from predator, and they were a bloody awful fit, I had to get them modified to fit!!! Buy with caution....

couldnt belive the price i got from blueflame! thats for the twin port cans ive got fitted atm! :evil:

No worries, just a thought. Oh! mine came in at 100db's the last time I had it checked on track with the std pipes on :oops: They nearly didn't let me on. :eek2

Mine metered out at Brands at 107dB with Carbon Can Co straight-through's on.

Result!
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
