Who needs a BMW GS when you have a firestorm.

Post by Bondy »

I forgot just how usable the storm is. Im sure you have all seen the news and the flooding around cockermouth. Well over the last week i have been commuting in this on the firestorm and have gone through countless floods and last night i hit one which was about 18 inch deep. The firestorm didnt miss a beat and just rode through it lovely (although my boots are now completly water logged ). All the other drivers stopped and wouldnt go through it. Including a landrover! Im glad i got it back. GREAT BIKE!

Make sure the starter lead, under the rubber boot, is well greased up!

Don't forget to wheelie through the deeper stuff to keep the intakes above water level. :D
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Well done...

Definately a wimp in the Landy though :S...
Even a completely standard Landy will wade through water 2 foot deep without any reall issue....

But usual thing isnt it...

its not what you've got, its how you use it :P

I have taken my VTR across fields :)

But it probably helps that I am completely mad :P
