I'm currently at work.

I looked at the links posted by you and they are very helpful.

I'm certain that I'll attend the rectifier mod the next spring,as it is the easiest one, and take a look at the swing-arm/rear shock bearings as well.

Mine is a 2000 model (firestorm/yellow).

I'll be needing to change the tyres as well,
Inspect the CCTs (& change them)

Inspect the clutch.

Replace the front fork seals & change the fork oil, change the front / rear brake & clutch fluids.

Change standard H4 bulb with Philips H4 motovision extreme.

One more thing, is it me? or the dashboard light a bit dim on the VTR? (the light that lits the dials).

Romania, eh?
Well, I won't offer to nip round and lend a hand then!

Clock lights- you can fit higher-rated bulbs but beware of anything too powerful as they aslo give off heat.
You might be able to get LED's that'll fit in the sockets... try Ultraleds in google.

Make sure that the length of the bulb isn't too long, as it's quite tight in the clocks.
Got caught out with that with a brighter sidelight- the plastic cover won't quite fit back flush!
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
