Sorry guys and gals but it had to be done....

I'll understand it when you cross the road, and avert your eyes in pity if you see me on the road this winter :shifty:

There's even a matching Knobhead T-shirt... :p

Better than cold wet hands IMO. I'm a wimp and use the car in winter anyway, so I won't cast any nasturtiums :)
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

Had a pair of these on a Hornet a few years back.
Couldn't work out why I was going through brake pads, turns out they wind pressure forces the brake on once you're over 60 or so.....

Might be worth rigging a little light up front in parallel with the brake light so you can see if that's happening.

I thought about fitting a pair over brush guards, but now I'm off the road during the winter it's not worth playing.

I'm sure you could do something similar with cut-up plastic milk containers....

I had a similar set up on a old GPZ6R winter hack, so a year back I transferred the heated grips over + a relay. But the hand protectors were an obscure US make from a mate who used to despatch many moons ago, and interfered with the controls. These 7tech handlebar muffs did have the highbeam flasher stick on, but otherwise they allow easy access for the thumbs to the switches.

Summer gloves work just fine with the set-up, which allow the grips to be on a lower heat setting, and the muffs stop the wind chill on the back of the hand.

No sign off any noticeable drag on the brakes or clutch slip at speed.

Leave them on in summer and we will rip the s**t out of them without mercy
Next year I'm gonna cover them in tin-foil to keep my hands cool :cool2
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Nice to see some one,s going to be using there bike through winter.
I looked at these but I thought they would be to bulky especially when turning.
So I had a word with a nice lady about some thing i had in mind and she tailor made thse for me, and by christ do they work fine. No more cold fingers. I just slide these over my original bike gloves now. Image
They were made from and old textile jacket I had laying around, they are lined with the same material from the jacket as well so this makes them wind proof.
They cover all the fingers right up to the wrist , I used an old pair of work gloves that had the elastic wrist and velcro fastening.

Some muffs, heated grips and thin tactile gloves are the only way this time of year. I hate wearing thick winter gloves
Red (the fastest colour) 98 Storm, APE CCT's ART Titanium high level cans, Airblade smoked double bubble screen and the shopping list is still growing!

Just dip your hands and feet in Deep Heat before you go out, lasts about two hours....

Just don't wipe the tears from your eyes :wtf:
