a bit of info please

fitted my tensioners today and i'm delighted with result.
was half expecting some rattle after i finished because the noise was so loud beforehand i thought there was damage to the cams or something, but no she's sounding sweeeeeeeeeet.
took pictures as i went so if anyone wants them or if ye want to put some of them up here, i can foward them on to someone who knows how to do it.
when i took the front tensioner out it fell apart so i'd say i was lucky i done them before serious damage was done. tony mentioned in the last post about the metal caps. i forgot it when doing the back tensioner so had do that one again. a couple of awkward pipes to get at under airbox but other than that it was plain sailing. thanks to everyone for their help, which made the job a piece of cake.
also sorted my choke. nice one for that too

As a precaution read the instructions carefully (more than once) making sure the cam lobes are facing the right way. When you take the cam covers off, if you are paranoid about the chain jumping on removal of the tensioner you can cable tie the chain to the sprocket, just make sure you remove them before re-assembly.

The guide is good but its always worth reading the rest of the thread before undertaking the work.

as you can see, I taped the key in position, as it was almost impossible to remove the rear CCT without disloging the locking key and loosing the setting.

last comment has been said before, read the instruction [print them and take to the shed with you], and take your time............oh, and take care when knocking out the pin that you dont drop it on the floor
