Well i stripped out the front cylinder on the Red storm i just bought and found it had bent all the valves in the head....already got a replacement head sorted, cheers Tony .
So i will need Head gasket and two new tensioners and fingers crossed she should be all nice and quiet again....until i remove the removable baffles

A proper job done to all 4 valves I see. A good job you have that spare c/head.
I'm not trying to tell you how to suck eggs, because I know you've done it before, but don't forget to follow my instructions for getting the valve timing reset correctly.
Will do Chris...an excellent guide that is and the one i used when doing it last time.I always check then check again as i can know it would be a pain in the butt to have to strip it down again if it was 180 degrees out....just getting the tank of is a bugger of a job...although i'm getting quite accustomed to it now
