Bloody Wind!!

Post by Leachy »

Well that was short!!! :mad2 not been able to get out due to snow etc and when i do, i get home, park up and the sodding wind blows over my storm and breaks the front right footpeg hanger!!!!! ooo and a mirror, apart from a slight scratch mark on the clutch cover no other damage!!

So does anyone know where to get a piece of gold dust  i mean a replacement front right footpeg hanger??

done ebay, gumtree (over 200 pages read )

I've been bothered with that myself recently ,since my wife made some Pea and Ham soup a few days ago ,it was really nice ,but by jings i paid the price ,or rather they did  :!:

Oops sorry mate i just read the thread title,

Seriously , i've heard of bikes being blown over before ,the wind must've been really strong for that to happen 8O

You could try a 'site a few have used on here, where you phone one number, and they contact lots of breakers, who, then contact you if they have the part required.

Here's Tim's link for the Breakers if you want to try...http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... =+breakers :)

I was after one myself, no luck on e-bay so I ended up buying a new one from Wemoto.

They had to order it in, took ten days.

Sixty-odd quid, as I recall.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
