just been doing chain n sprocket swap on the storm . how much play should there be in the front sprocket ive done it up to the to 54nm torque as stated in the haines but there seems to be a bit of play in the spocket when the chain is off also ive lost my chain rivet tool how else can the chain be rivited my m8 said give the thing a wack with a hammer any advise plz thanks gaz

Dont know about the play but don't whack the chain with a hammer, the rivit needs to splayed out so it doesn't come out.

Proper tools for a proper job :)

ye was thinking that myself will pop it to the local dealer get them to do it

I think that standard sprockets have a rubber disc on them to keep the noise down, and aftermarket ones don't, I've just wiggled mine, and there's some play there, so nothing to worry about as far as i can tell..
