Re: cluch problem
Needs a good bleed, if you didn't tie the clutch lever to the handlebar then air has got in.
Cutting out would probably be due to the side stand switch.

Re: cluch problem
Slave cylinder piston has a spring, so the piston comes out of the cylinder far enough to allow air in, and fluid out.
Just bleed it through and away you go.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Re: cluch problem
just a thought - when did you last check / change the oil, and what oil did you use?
it's a wet clutch and low oil level or minging oil scorches the plates and they're never the same.
long life car oils have ptfe in to prolong engine life (misery) and are no good in bikes.
same applies to any bike with wet clutch.
just done the plates on my cbx cos of scorching due to bad oil - what a difference, and only cost me £35!

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Re: cluch problem
Great, isn't it, when you fear the worst but an easy fix sorts it!
