That sounds like another good idea Marra. I know that jet bike the Y2K has that on it too. I saw a while back a yellow Storm with the same set-up for sale on ebay, see pic's below,

Fantastic idea, but how well will it work at night also love to see a slide down tint version which the HJC helmits have

edit love to see a piggy cam detection warning option too, also HID display for directions.

Great idea but this reviewer says it wasn't so good for sportsbikes (so riding the '916' where your mirrors might as well not exist doesn't get any better with this helmet). He suggests an adjustment to the mirrors 'read' angle would be good. I agree.

Rear view camera though doesn't depend on how your head angle is etc. Nice!!!

I was thinking a similar thing re:the helmet :?

Suppose it's biggest benefit is that you can keep your head straight ahead on the road without having to shift posistion or move your head/body at all? Sports bike mirrors (as you know) are generally poo and do require this input from the rider.

The camera just looks a cool idea :D I just want to see how it turns out

I think form the offset it,s a great idea. But as they say it,s still in the early stages though. Good for day time riding, however , what happens at night when you have vehicles behind you with wrongly adjusted headlamps shining into it all the time.

I think it requires some form of shield that you can drop or slide over or some thing like reactor lens as in glasses have .?

Only what I noticed about it.

Some very valid points raised there for sure. Good thinking

One problem I can see with a camera is where to mount it. It needs to be big enough to be seen easily, without it covering the speedo pod. So that brings it back to the pic I posted in this thread of the Firestorm, the person who fitted that got around this by fitting an after market speedo pod.
