DPR9EIX-9 NGK Iridium IX,s They seem to suit the V twin, I think there are also SP spec.

The DPR9 is the best plug I've used, but I have also usrd the DPR8 which is a hotter plug for the winter. I think this is the varadero plug...
As a habit, i change the plugs twice a year, must be OCD.
And as I never throw anything away, have several pairs if you want to try a pair for free.

I have just put some new plugs in mine......do i have to adjust the gap at all or do they come ready to fit?

personaly i use a feeler gauge and the recomended setting in the book and adjust acordingly

Iridium plugs need wire type gauges, not the normal flat-blade type.

I have blade type gauges and i bought Iridium Plugs......what would happen if the gap was not correct??

If the gap was over 1mm then you probably wouldnt get a clean burn. You dont measure the actual gap with platinum or iridium plugs you just make sure your 1mm wire guage can not be inserted.

Put them in today god what a akward job that was need to have hands of a five year old to get at them . Found the front one was loose so it was good that i did the job fired her up much better the ones that came out where a bit worn she sounds much chrisper now :thumbup: :thumbup:

I went to Halfords and bought a Spark Plug all angle socket with a handle thingy....can't remember exactly what it's called but that was so much more easier! (i read this back to myself and it just doesnt make sense so good luck with understanding this, lol)
