You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

my only claim to fame is i once stood next to bet lynch in a pub.

I was on ITV's "News at Ten" wearing a crash helmet with an old kettle bungeed to it.
The kettle had indicators where the lead plugs in and on the spout, powered by a 6 volt battery inside and a flasher unit.
It was at a helmet law rally in Swansea,(rode there on my little 125 Honda).
Not entirely sure why now.......
And my right hand was in a programme about mobile phones on Channel 4 once.
I haven't washed it since
Oh, and I almost ran over Jon Pertwee in Drury Lane once, when I was a despatch rider years back.
Apart from that, life's been quite uneventful, really.......
