Got a Morgan Carbtune.
Lovely bit of kit.
I've fitted the takeoffs from the vacuum points on the inlets, so connecting the carbtune is easy.
All I need now is some form of extension flexible tube so that I can actually adjust the carb balancing screw- my hands don't reach and although a flexible drive can get there the fact it's hanging off the screw affects the readings- as soon as it's removed they move back out of sync.
Thinking about a little flexible extension, I'm sure I've seen this on other bikes, and if it can be fitted so that a nut or knurled adjuster knob can be seen a bit easier, that'll make a regular check more likely.
Preferably something long enough to pull out into the triangular gap where the coolant pipe emerges on the LH side, but can be tucked back in afterwards to stop straying fingers having a play when I'm parked up in the street.
I expect that other bikes have something that will just screw straight on, if I knew the thread size.
Any ideas?
Carb balancer screw extension?
Carb balancer screw extension?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

If you know the OD of the screw head, you should be able to find a piece of silicone tube with a tight enoug ID to enable it to snuggly fit over the screw head. Maybe a small cable tie around the end to secure it.

I don't think LSM modified the adjuster screw, only added hoses as Tony has done.FirestormMike wrote:Pretty sure LSM has already done a post on this with pics of his modification.
Not a bad idea Tony to do that, although I just give it that little bit more of a turn, knowing it'll come back once I remove the screwdriver.

This is the sort of thing I had in mind:

All I need to do is match the threads, and fabricate a little bracket.
