Hi fellas, I need your collective knowledge to help me fit my bellypan. I bought a ratty old one from Ebay last week and re-sprayed/stickered it up.
However I decided to fit it today at the same time as my ally crash posts and dark screen. After removing the standard bikini pan, I realised I had no fookin idea how the new one fits, only the hole on the right side of the bike lines up with one of the 4 holes in the bellypan. I got two brackets with it and each bracket has 3 holes in it.
It's defo a firestorm pan but I aint got a clue where to start with it, any advice will be appreciated.
Only joking I'm sure it's not that bad to post in the wrong area. I'm waiting for mine to come back from the paint shop then I'm gonna be in this situation!!
Happy ridin'

If you can tell us what type of pan it is it might help us describe how to fix the problem.
i had a moriwaki style one and it uses the origional belly pan brackets, plus two new ones, but these are moved from their origional possitions and bolted onto the sump mounting bolts that run round the engine.
I had the Moriwaki style from Skidmarx. If that's the one you have Skidmarx do a fitting kit.

But this is quite correct! The fitting kit has all the brackets...I didn't have the original ones..
I have a moriwaki belly pan as well, I just fitted it end of last year so I think I still have the instructions.
Can scan them for you if that helps.
From memory there was 3 new mounting brackets in the kit, one mounted on the LH front exisiting mount, the RH front was used with no mods, and the 2 new rear mounts were bolted to the sump bolts on the left and the bottom clutch cover bolt on the right.
If belly pan looks like this it is a Moriwaki style:
The top right hole on the bottom bellypan pic lines up with the hole for the original pan on the right hand side of the bike. Not sure where the brackets fix though two holes on each bracket are straight through, and one hole on each has a threaded insert.
Same as mine
Yer short of a long bar that goes right across the front of the belly pan and fastens the front top two mounting holes and the engine you can see it behind the exhaust and below the radiator hose
2 z shaped brackets that fasten the top rear to the same bolts that mount the back of the STD fairing these are the main ones for mounting it
The two you have are the ones that fasten to the standard belly pan mounts Didn’t even fit them on mine as it was well secured without
You need to get in touch of who sold you it and ask for all the brackets
