i am on the market for a different one, preferably something people have used on bikes before.
Any recommendations?
the go pro surf is the third cam ive bought after the others failed to perform.
the sound is bob on with the go pro cos its encased so doesnt pick up wind, and there's loads of different mounts for em.
just ordered a suction mount for mine, and a clear screen so i can film the clocks and forward view.
tbh i dont think theres anything better.
looked at a few bullet type cams but same as you, didn't want to spend a fortune on something that is no good for bikes and high wind noise.
plus theres no indicator on the back to tell you you're recording.
the only thing that would come close imo is one like plod use, with a remote recorder - the cams are so small you can wear them on the lid without looking a berk.
might be an idea to youtube search for the cam you linked to and see if theres any good vids off one.
otherwise invest in a go pro.
only thing i dont like about mine is the fish eye lens.
also, the type of memory card you use makes a massive difference to the quality of the vid, with lesser cards having lower write times so you get jumpy framerates.
sandisk are best imo.
