27mm.
Thanks for that; went up to the garage to get my socket set to check and now apparently I have to clear the gutters as "I'm out already".

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: Rear Wheel Nut
nice one Tony thanks, sorry for that. Just tell her you need a special gutter cleaning tool to do the job to the correct standards. That way you can either take a trip out or tell her you can't be bothered going to all the hassle and your going to the pub

Seven years ago.
Now I'm unable to put them back due to changes in health & safety guidance which prevents me working above 2m without adequate fall arrest protection etc blah blah

Re: Rear Wheel Nut
Done now.
A bit worse than a normal job as we have doves.
They sit on the roof during the day, and the sh1t has to go somewhere, and...........
Still, that's it until I get the ladder out for putting up the Christmas lights, when she traditionally makes her next "helpful suggestion"

Re: Rear Wheel Nut
On the up side Tony, because of you going to get you socket set and finding out that it was a 27mm socket I needed I managed to get my chain ajusted and got out for a wee ride today.
therefore proving that for everything bad that happens something good happens.
cheers man!

Re: Rear Wheel Nut
Glad you're sorted now.
Course, the other way would've been to get out the ring spanner in the toolkit and measure it.....
If only I'd thought of that first
