Don't like em. You hear so many horror stories of riders forgetting to take them off, damage to them and their bikes. If the key is similar to your ign. key,cut small length of plastic tube to slip over the lock key. When you come to fit the lock, take the tube off the key and put it on the ignition key then when you can't start the bike the tube will remind you of the lock. Anyway hope you have some thoughts yourself on the subject. Mind how you go.
Good way to prevent theft, but had a horror story one night outside a pub up north, some prick moved my bike with the lock on and when i came out to go the lock was damaged and could not get it to open :mad2 it was not a high quality lock so could have been weaker than yours
About 6 years ago, I bought a Yale padlock with the longer loop, for £40, and have never had any grief because the 2nd most inportant thing you need to get is the fluorescent "forget me not"- invaluable.
Chris.
yeh i cant see me forgetting about it as ive been using that long yellow baby cord thing, attached it to the lock and then round the throttle tube, id have to be pissed not to notice, and if i was then id deserve chucking it down.
