Fireblade wheels on a storm ..

Post by Geordie »

Does anybody know whether CBR 1000 Fireblade wheels fit the '97 firestorm ? I know the discs are quite a bit bigger, but would the firestorm discs fit the CBR wheels, axles, etc and what spacers would be needed to fit standard swingarm and forks ?

Cheers

With the right amount of work anything can be made to fit, but I doubt it would be a case of a direct bolt on.
I'm sure there will be someone with more knowledge of thee matters along soon.

Saves jacking the rear up :D
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Hi Steve,
Did you use the VFR disc's on your VFR800 front wheel :?: as Mark's (Firestarter) standard Firestorm disc's don't fit. See link:-

That thought did cross my mind about yours Steve and Mark's too. I don't know if there is a way of telling, perhaps someone on here does know :?:
