Hi all, just a few q's. I did search but didnt get anything meaningfull back.

Tyre pressures, what are you guys running f/r?

Tyres, any recommendations? not super cheapies but something descent on a budget

Fireblade wheels, do I just get any or do I need specific ones?

Recommended tyre pressures for the Firestorm are 36psi Front & 42psi Rear.

I recommend the Avon Storm SP (sports touring) tyres. I usually get around 6,000 miles from the rear tyre. I don't do track days just road use.

I completely recommend Maxxis Sports touring... Fine in dry and wet. Not sure of wear rate yet but seem to be doing ok. £115 for both tyres delivered from dk spares.

I'm with Giddsy on the tyres, Maxxis sports- i think the equivalent of the bridgestone bt014. Fantastic tyres.
Also 36 front, 42 rear.

What Sirch (Chris) said. In fact I think I persuaded him onto the Avons.

No idea re FireBlade wheels - can't see the point myself. The VFR single side conversions look good though :)

i think the fireblade wheels you need the rear off an early blade n i think its the front off nc30 for tyres ive just got some pirreli angel st loads of grip in wet or dry
97 model ,black, plus 2 rear sprocket ,double bubble screen ,rentec sports rack.......much more to come
