New Zorsts!

Post by Giddsy »

Just bought these off flea bay...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 922wt_1165

Not got 'em yet but seems like a good buy despite damage... Been looking for ages and everything has been going for silly money.

Anyway, is there anyway to get those scratches out? Thinking not but worth an ask...

Cheers,

James

Evening James, they don't look too bad to me, are they anodized gold?
Not sure how you'd go about getting scrapes off- but they are only minor.
Good bargain.

You got a real bargain there. I've been looking for cans for a while for my Daves VTR I bought him 2-3 weeks ago. I did post it in the sales and wants, and I'll keep looking, but yep...bargain..Well done you.   .

Sorry to dig the thread up, but my Scorpions are the same as this and scratched to. How do you go about re-sleaving cans?

Are they the road legal version ? I bought the same cans with baffles fitted and when you take them out the growl like the devil made them :D
I just use autosol and elbow grease to keep mine clean.Nice set of cans for a good price

Hi James,

I didn't do it in the end but I did google some places where you can buy a re-sleeve kit, think it was about 30 or 40 quid.

Someone will be along soon who can tell you more I'm sure!

Thanks for giving me an estimate on the cost. It's really bugging me, the bike is pretty much a restoration project. I'm going to ride it for the summer in the condition it is and then strip it back completely at the end of the season or maybe earlier if I get bored haha
