Hope every one is well. It's been ages since i've been on here. I was just wandering has any one heard of these discs before?

Bike went in for it's MOT today and failed on a warped front disc. Huff...ahh well it was bound to happen at some point.

imo that's a very good price for a pair of discs, and stainless ones as well.

i like the drilling pattern as well.
look a lot better than the wavy ones everyone seems to fit.
not too sure on the first link - does say kagi but doesnt state what theyre made of etc...

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

LOL, i was tempted by the wavey discs, but wasn't sure. Think your probably right about going for the other ones, i will probably order them on Tuesday when they are open again.
Another question i have is on head bearings, i've just looked on David Silver spares and they do a set but they're not tappered bearings by the look of it, is it work changing them over to these? Quite a price difference but i hear that the storm commonly has head bearings going so could be worth the change.

Quite a lot of Folks have changed over to tapered bearings. There should be a few posts on here about it and what part numbers you need but if your bearings arn't notched (sticking in the centre position) I wouldn't worry about it yet. Also, Iv'e always just rotated the bottom and top shells by 180 degrees and I've never had to replace a head bearing set yet...and I've done lots of sh1t wheelies too

re the front discs - have a look at these before you buy new.

no bids on them atm and they are going for 49 for the pair, no wear on them.
ebc discs so they mustve been fitted just before the bike was broke.
it hasn't been crashed either according to the seller.
he's selling the rear cyl head so most likely the front has had cct failure....
for that price you save £100 so you could get new pads as well and still be quids in.
at time of posting there's 8hrs left on the sale.
regarding the headstock bearings, most common fault is loose / overtight nut, and grease being washed out by over-enthusiastic use of the jet wash....
the last time i had to change some was on ma yam fs1e so that shows how long ago lol!!
there was a 1/2" gap with no bearings, they had completely worn away and others were oval & flat!!
get some good grease in there - that thick red stuff is best, dunno what it's called.
