
I do remember that it was flush side down ie Off is at the top and on at the bottom. The top half of the tap stands proud to the tap whilst the other sits flush(ish). Where does it need to be??? Thanks and sorry. F'storm Jedi

tony, i would say your fuel tap diaphragm is fkt or sticking, vac tube perished or trapped, because i'm sure the middle position is 'prime' though it doesn't say that on the tap.

another possibility is that you may have put the vacuum tube on the wrong stub when you last had the tank off?
