Hi All,
Does anyone know if the above is true? I know that many 929 parts fit, but not sure of the rear sets.
I know that the distance of the holes on the rearsets are 60mm so I will check that but is there anything else to consider?
Thanks!

Mate of mine has a 929.
Don't quote me on this-and without checking I would not be able to be 100%-but I don't think they fit.
IIRC the VTR rear sets are a completley different shape/fit-dunno if the blade units run a 60mm gap too though?

Martyn,
have a look at Tweety`s info on the Superhawkforum as he may have fit some on his VTR (with some adaptation needed).
cheers

Hi Micky,
have done so, but he used some 'cheap parts from ebay' and custom fitted.
Thanks though.

I would say no without some serious mods. The cbr ones bolt to the frame as in this pic.

The Vtr ones are held in place with the swingarm spindle as in this pic.

Ignore the red ring lol. It would take a lot of fab to get them to fit would be cheaper to just get the firestorm ones.

You are not wrong there. I doubt very much they'd fit.
Thanks for the pictures.

Good advice for those heading to Mugello.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
