same as any other tbh.
have a look on youtube, theres a pretty good tutorial by a guy doing a trials bike forks - nothing different on the storm.
my cbx was a git cos it has anti-dive mech inside but apart from that it's a doddle.
just make sure you don't damage the plating on the legs.

this is part1 of 3 changing showa seals - same as on the storm
you won't need any special tools apart from allen keys, white spirits, internal circlip pliers and a rubber mallet.
best using a bit of carpet to lay them on - not the living room carpet preferably lol.

if you cant get the allen bolt out the bottom you can still get the seals out - drill a small hole in the old seal at either side, screw a woodscrew or self tapper in and pull it out evenly with pliers, again taking care not to mark the chrome.

if you have to resort to the screw method, i suggest you push the stanchion all the way down into the leg so if you do damage the chrome it won't be in the usable bit.

i turned down a special tool to slide the new seals in, but lost it lol, so just took the round spring out of the old seal and used it to tap the new one home.
once it's in past the top of the leg, put the washer over it and tap that down - evenly until you can see the circlip groove, then it's home.

the entire job must be meticulously clean before you start stripping it and after.

it's really straight forward and will take you 30 mins to do the first leg and 10 to do the other.

dont forget to pump oil up & down several times to get any air bubbles out - best to pre-measure the oil out evenly if you can.

got mine sat on an upside down concrete planter atm.
jacked it up, slid the planter underneath then dropped it down - it sat on the front downpipe, with a bit of 1/2" galv pipe on the left hand side to level it out.

just watch the oil filter.

got to put it back together tomorrow cos im off out on me 750 lol
wsb3 weekend innit

might leave the concrete block there tbh to keep the front wheel down and give the red ones a chance to catch up :biggrin
