115bhp????

Post by benny hedges »

er take a look at this before it ends.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... NA:GB:1123

'any questions email me here and i will answer'
so i asked what mods have you done to get 115bhp and do you have a dyno print-out to prove it
no reply lol.
so either he's done something so secret that i am not worthy of knowing, or he's estimated the bhp!
nice hi level cans but i'm sure that alone won't add 20 horses at the back wheel!

feel free to name and shame other outlandish claims! - might be genuine, but imo to get 115 at the wheel it would need cans, airfilter, velo stacks, stage 2 cams, ported head, dynojet and other goodies, plus the suspension would need sorting...

& for timbo - there is a mint laguna seca sp1 on there - would swap for a mint cb1300

Says engine work.
Wonder what?

I've asked for details, too.

Perhaps we all should?

thing is, if you were selling a bike and you'd had all the moriwaki / yoshi kit fitted, wouldn't you state that in the description, plus show a dyno sheet, even just to make it stand out above all the other 'unique' storms!!!!

i smell bs!

You're quite right Benny, mine's had: Stage 2 Full Moriwaki system, K+N, Dynojet kit and makes 111 at the wheel.
This was after extensive dyno time at Total Traction, and meticulous setting up by the one and only Mick Whitnell.

115 hp (as in at the crankshaft, up from the stock quoted 109 hp), possibly, but NOT at the rear wheel unless he has had internal work done. Been there, done that, have the dyno sheets to prove it, lol

(p.s. unless, of course, the dyno is very optimistic or, as a Superhawk forum member noted, we are talking about very lazy horses...)

Apparently he was told that by the previous owner.

Trusting soul, isn't he...... :biggrin

Did you notice it sold for 2k, and now he's relisted it. The sold item didn't have 'reserve not met', I'd be very careful as he's now listed it as classified ad at £2200. I'd be ranting if I'd won it at 2k and he refused to sell.

Of course the buyer could have been a fake or his mate bidding it up!!
Happy ridin'

I just had mine re-fuelled, Stage 1 cams, pistons and valves plus Moriwaki Carbs and Stage 1 Moriwaki Ti Exhaust and that's 117BHP at the rear. Still bloody running lean mid throttle but no dip in torque, but still. Wish I lived nearer Roger...
No bike (yet).

tbh if it puts out what he says it does and he puts a list of all the mods and dyno results then 2.2 is a bargain for someone.
was pricing up cams for mine and nearly shat meself lol 8O

My mate says mine pisses over his tuned turbo Busa and does 200mph, any offers?
Can't post the dyno readout yet 'cause the crayon buggers up the scanner......nice drawing of me going fast, though.
