frame polish + pics

Post by matt1966 »

Hi all. I have been thinking about polishing out the rough centre spar on my storms frame, has anyone ever had a go at this. I am not sure what I should start with as its such a rough finish.
Matt.
Ok had a go took a couple of hours looking good so far

Did much the same but bought polishing kit off web only £12 got three
wheels and three soap bars. Stripped paint with nitromors then started
with 600 wet n dry then 1000 then went on with polishing wheels then masked
what I had polished, and painted spokes silver.

WOW looking great

You better be careful though as polishing can become addictive :D Once you start you can't stop

Chris.

PS. I'll pop around later to have mine done
