Vtr replacement mirrors ?

Hi all been out today and decided the standard vtr mirrors are rubbish , i've done a search and found out R6/R1 mirrors might fit ,if they do without too much modification which year do i need ? .And are there any other options ?

Yes, Early R1 mirrors are a great improvement. would'nt recomend cheap ones from Hong Kong but will do the job. You might have to make some spacers as you will see when you get the originals off. I used some short lengths of 6mm thick walled pipe.

Just clocked, over the threads to take up the space between nuts and fairing .
