I hate my seat

I really cant get awaywith the seat on this bike, decided to have a 45 min stint on the bike up to hartside cafe but by the time i got there my butt was dead

Is this common on the VTR as my previous bikes have been way more comfortable and is there anything i can do i.e change the seat or get one made

must be the shape of your butt bud - i dont think the storm seat is that bad tbh compared to some....

you can get aftermarket seats, gel inserts etc - ask abb, shes got a nice seat.

well im a slim lad and prob have a funny shaped ass so that could be the problem

just need to make the bike my own as its till standard and i want to change the god awful mirrors that no one can see out of and get a better seat

get some mirroe extenders off ebay and put a gold wing seat on it - not seen that done before!!!

You could always get the seat rebuilt to suit.

You can get some nice seats with built in gel and mine is dead comfy!! I went to Fort Bill last weekend and back again next day 440 miles and my butt didn't even feel it. I think the normal storm seats are ok not too bad and I only used to feel it after around 100 miles but when Dave & I went to Newcastle and back same day and Dave said his butt was numb! I got mine off a guy on here but it is a Corbin basket weave type made by these guys
