Post by Jens »

I bought a speedohealer for my hawk, read alot that they show way to mouch on the clock. Installation wass easy took only 2 mins, but my question is, any one know how mouch the original speedometer show to mouch 8-9-10% ?

I know the right thing to do is to dyno run it, but aint one arround atm.

Thx.

Also the tyre wear can effect the readings by a couple of percent, they all read faster than true speed as its not illegal to be over by 10% in this country (others vary but can be 5%) but it is illegal for a speedo to read less than the true speed.

Then over 70mph linerarity errors really come into play and can be -20% out!
