Have been right over my electrics, all connections good, everything works as it should (well appears to)
Except the parking lights. Turn the key to the parking light position and.....nothing. I suspect it's the ignition itself, but just wondering if this is a known problem or if there is anything specific I should check. As sidelights etc of the LH switch they are all good, no worries.
No biggie if they don't work, as I rarely, if ever, use them. But the fact that they should work and don't, well it bugs me!
Any ideas for what to check appreciated. Have had the ignition plug off and cleaned up the connections so I know it's not that.

Re: Parking Lights
I'll have to check the handbook, but there is def provision on the ignition switch, as you can continue past the point of the steering lock to the next click which is parking lights.
Re: Parking Lights
Well blow me. Checked the handbook and as you guys say, no mention of a parking light position in the handbook.
Yet - there is an ignition switch position PAST the steering lock - so I have On/Off/Lock and Park Light (in theory) on my ignition.
Ah well, maybe Honda in their wisdom used ignition's off other models and never wired it up. Does sound like it.
Which might explain why it doesn't work then.....

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
