Been a while since I have managed to get on, last time it was a problem with severe corrosion on the starter motor bolt before heading off to the NW200. Anyhow thanks for the advice guys, :thumbup: and it held out till I got back :clap: and I then got it stripped down and sorted. Nuts were totally fecked. it was just the rust holding it all together. Well greased now, that it is all sorted. New washers, nuts but managed to rescue the bolt. Gave the starter motor a complete overhaul and clean while I was at it. Cleaned it all out and it does seem to spin slightly easier now.

Was just wondering if anybody by any chance (before I go to the Dealership and buy one) would happen to have a spare small rubber boot that covers the clutch pin that connects to the clutch lever lying about. Mine has just deteriorated and the metal coil in it to hold it in place has rusted away to nothing.

if thats rotted theres a chance the rest of the mc seals are shot as well, seeing as that acts as a dust seal...
for the sake of a purple it might be worth doing it proper?
wemoto and silvers do a clutch mc overhaul kit with all the seals you need.
posted a link to it somewhere but cba looking again lol.

alternative is have it fail when you need it most, or drip fluid onto your fairing (like mine did) - or onto the tank... or worse, on the clock glass = makes a mess of them.
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
