Just wanted to put it out there, I have started to get vibration through the foot pegs at 5000, I would not be bothered cause of the nature of the bike, but she is doing the last 3 times out.
I have balanced the carbs cause she done it in the past when they were out, but view are bang on.
THe other time she felt like this was when it was a cool evening.
I will look at the air filter tonight and the plugs.
Any other ideas.

Re: Vibration at 5000rpm
do an oil & filter change m8, maybe you have wrong oil in???
just a suggestion as last time i did mine i could only find 10/40 semi - put a new filter on & fitted a 15/40 and it's 100% better - virtually no clutch rattle & the same vibes are gone.
also worth checking your tyre pressures - i know it might sound unconnected, but i had too much air in the front & depending what road surface i was on, it felt decidedly rumbly through the pegs, obviously you fear the worst when you feel new vibrations, but it's more likely to be nothing than something.
another cause could be your chain... is it oiled, worn, loose, too tight?
rear wheel aligned proper?
if it were shells on the way out, you'd notice it pulling hard uphill in a high gear, really put the engine under load and you will hear & feel it grumbling.
check all the bolts / nuts are tight as well - i'd lost a m6 caphead from under the left footpeg hanger and that had the same effect - a bit of vibe between 5-7k

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
Re: Vibration at 5000rpm
Cheers for that Benny, adjusted the chain and she is sweet now, its the first time I have adjusted the chain since it's been on there, about a 1500 miles, she never did that before with the old chain cause after taking the old one I realised why I was ajusting it after every run, it was an original replacement with no rings at all.
It was in a right state when I took the master link out, rusty, dirty I could not believe that it was still working.
Again many thanks.
