your thoughts?

Post by pikeman »

Hi all,

First post so hello. I currently have a kawasaki klv 1000 (vstrom 1000 really).I am thinking of changing to a vtr, i have always liked them but never quite bought one. but now might be the time :D . i have a couple of questions;

1. i am 6ft how comfortable is the vtr?
2. other than the cct any other issues?
3. how much gets me a tidy one?

Thanks.

you should have no problem at 6ft. should be able to lob it around np.
i cant reach the ground lol! :lol:

:lol: ccts, reg rec... nawt else really, maybe fork seals if its been wheelyed a lot (badly)
look in sales and wants before shopping around a a few respected members are selling up - you get a well maintained firestorm with all the mods and you can see the history of the bike yourself.

1500 - 2500 gets you a belter :thumbup:

just buy a new reg, Cardiff Motorcycles Limited £30. I know a member here who may make you some manual CCT's for £40.
