Help!

Post by Giddsy »

Right another problem... :(

This morning on way to work I noticed that the instrument cluster had died completely, no speedo, tacho or lights (except indicators worked). I was right near work so continued and on pulling up the engine cut out and on turning the key there was absolutely nothing there. I haven't had a chance to check any fuses or anything at all yet.. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance...

I agree, happened to me same symptoms. new r/r and battery fixed it.

Yep battery totally dead... I hope r/r is fine. I had a loose connection recently and that flattened the battery twice so think this may have killed it. It is an R6 r/r and appeared to be working fine once I reconnected it.

Thanks for your help.

Had the same happen to mine on the way to work, all of a sudden all the instruments and idiot lights went dead. it turned out to be a loose battery terminal. I just tightened it up and all was well.
