New to Twins
Hi All
Names Del and this is my 1st twin - taken ownership of a 1998 Red Firestorm - not been out on it yet as been told that CCT are a bit of a unreliable resource and need to be done every 20k or so - well its got 35k on it and a bit of corrosion on the CCT's so needing done in my opinion - its had the rectifier done as well as the generator n starter motor - has a set of EVO high level cans, a double bubble and a rear sear cowl (dont know if this is a standard part or not) - great suspension and not scarey for parts prices
It sounds great and really thumps - been on the various sections on the forum and seam like a right friendly place and also read a few things on the CCT's and about the modifications to manual ones (gonna get me a set of them)
I also have a 2006 ZRX1200 in the Eddie Lawson colours aswell as a 1996 ZX9r B3 - this one is currentlly undergoing a complete rebuild and getting close to completion
Location - Sunny Glasgow

och eye the nooo
cba with glasgow tbh, it's still in black & white & everyone kept calling me ken
btw dont spend your hard earned tennants fund on ape tensioners - have a look at what some of the talented chaps here are turning out, well better than inferior imports imo!

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Hi.
But ride it anyway- no better way to get to know your engine than to rebuild it with new valves after a CCT induced valve/piston introduction.
Anyway, what's the chances of that happening in real life?
(We all just hype it up so we can sell converted CCT's to newbies on the Fear Factor!)
(and I have a spare engine for sale soon.....)

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
