Chain and Sprockets

Post by SlingVTR »

Ok its time for chain and sprockets, Im going to go one down on the front cog as the things daftly tall geared, now I have had a look in the internet and I need some advice for replacement. They vary from £79 to about £170 can anyone recommend a particular brand? or indeed a particular chain set itself. i dont want a lightweight racing chain, would rather have a chain that lasts the distance. Any ideas........... :cool2

Sling, I'd go and see Anthony in Haines, Cinderford when I ordered my chain and sprockets it was in the next day, great service.
I couldn't beat their price on the internet, for the quality set they'd ordered for me. You can buy crap on fleabay cheaper.

Nice blokes who work in there too, always take my bikes there for MOT and work I can't do.

Ian the parts man there, was voted best parts man in his job on the Trail bike forum.
Happy ridin'
