Superdream

Post by Jazzscot »

I got a free project from one of the guys on another forum. I know it aint a Storm but it is a Honda!!!!

The plan is to bring it back to life at the school where I work and get some of the disafected kids involved. I am on a tight budget but I think Ill get the kids to do some fundraising to get tools/parts etc.

I was in the garage tonight having a play with her tonight and managed to get her running on one clyinder which is a start I guess.

I had to solder the ignition switch as it had wires hanging off of it.

Anyway I thought Id share her with you guys and wondered if any of you have any experiance of the 250 superdream.

ah the old wet dream, comstar wheels - what an innovation!
my cbx 750 has same wheels... pressed ally bolted together
i had a 400n for a while & it was great... kept up with the LCs and handled quite good, was good for about 115 on top, dead comfy too and 50mpg

compared to the competition at the time, gs250, xs250 & z250 scorpion it was a winner.
one local pleb had a dream with triumph cones on and he thought he was ace.

Had a look at the pics, and maybe I can help.
You had it running on one cylinder, well done so far.

But I noticed that the other plug lead is hanging off......try that first.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
