backs in pieces bike on hold!

Post by vtrmann »

might be a bit longer on the sssarm build now, done my back in....wasn't doing anything it just went and i couldn't get off the floor [not one for doctors or hospital but even i nearly rang for ambulance] think its a trapped nerve as keep detting spazams in my muscles in my back. makes you appreciate your legs when you have to crawl around on all fours........a so called mate even got some pictures of me up against a car wasn't funny at the time but i would have done the same to him for sure.
single sided swing arms rule....!

sounds like you might've jarred a disc mate & the muscles either side of your spine lock up solid - agony.
touch wood ( :biggrin he said wood) hasnt happened to me for a few years but know what you mean.
done same just picking letters up off the floor, & once i was at a parent's evening & the adults bog was shut, so had to use the kids bogs, for a number 2 - the bog was tiny lol!
and the bog roll was behind me.
as i turned round for some, my back went & i had to fone the mrs to come & help me up lol - was embarassing as i couldn't finish wiping my butt.

you should be gratefull for pain anyway - if it wasn't for pain & misery you wouldn't know when you felt good.

Mate you have my sympathy, had something similar myself few years back when bent down to pick up a paint brush whilst decorating - split 3 discs in my lower back, couldn't walk properly for a month, took me 4 months before I could do anything properly again.

get yourself off to a good docs, backs are very funny things that only time heals. And also find a good sports physio, they need to put you under one for a course of treatment.

my sister's just qualified as a physio
she fancied a change of career so went back to uni for 2nd time, studied for 5 yrs, just got back from 1st placement in sth africa.
she said all she wants do do is feel footballer's legs!

apparently the best thing for a bad back is a good shag - so bend over!!

Did something similar about 6 weeks ago - bent down to tie a shoelace and BANG.

It is getting better now though as yours will. Bag of frozen peas in a tea towel helps reduce the inflammation plus ibuprofen. Funny things, backs!
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!
