Dot 3 / Dot 4

Wanting to bleed the front brake on the 'wet dream' as its like just holding a sponge on the disk, the back drum is supprisigly exclent tho!

thing is haynes manuel say's Dot 3, i went to halford the dont have it and said they cant order it either.

it needs an mot this week

i have some DOT 4 in the garage somewhere can this be used or will it fook up the seals etc?

Yep Dot 4 will be fine, just dont use Dot 5 as its completely different and wont mix.

as it happens i was looking for the DOT4 i knew i had and found a real old sealed bottle of DOT3

so used that, that superdream was a doddle to blead in comparison to the storm with it just having one calliper to do, had it done in a few min's with the one way tube attached.
