doesnt say sports or touring anywhere on the tyre - all i can say is it's a m6029 and it's made out of round glue.

if that's a touring tyre it's not a very good one cos after a 10 mile thrash the rubber stuck to my glove lol. i imagine i'll be lucky to see 2500 from the rear and the front is starting to shred after 300.
if it's a sports tyre i'll say it does what it says on the tin, unless you're one of these people who thinks golf & darts is a sport.
you play a full round (4 and a half miles up and down dale....then tell me its a dart related game.........

I stuck a pair of Dunlop Roadsmarts on in April, have done 2kish miles and they still look brand new. Chiken strips are long gone!.
Front has a nice rounded profile so turns in pretty good. Also had no issues in the wet (had plenty practise this summer).

Cheers

had a scary moment in the rain last night lol with the maxxis m6029....
in general they've been great and feel confident cornering in the wet (damp)
last night it was proper pissing down, and as i was making my way home on the m6, a bird in a mondeo pulled alongside smiling suggestively and making like she wanted to ride the big one, and made a revving gesture, so naturally i gave it a fistfull of beans to show off, like you do.....

75mph on a wet motorway, back end let go bigtime lol, shat meself, went sideways, got it back, then got the mother of all tankslappers 8O
obviously i stayed on lol, but didn't get a shag

not saying the maxxis are no good in rain as it was torrential, but the intention was to crack the wheel up, not go snaking down the 3rd lane lol 8O
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

You thought it was baldrocks? :)

Had a few sets of M6029 now, they are sports tourer and did 3,500 miles on them, mostly in the wet, and mostly torrential rain, (and mostly cruising at 90-100 with some fast bits thrown in for good measure) no incidents at all.

Well apart from one in Chartres, but that was rider at fault, not tyre, eh pete? :)
Nothing which couldn't be fixed with sticky tape and a plaster
Next time we'll find some traffic lights and have a practice before we go.: Repeat after me Red means Stop, Green is for Go:  Funny little camera? Go faster!
