very strange request

Post by MJONESY »

is there any chance somebody could post the dimensions of a firestorm key or a line drawing or something, lost the key for mine and need to order some blanks so i can have a bash at stripping the ignition barrel and hand filing a key to fit. dont really want to part with the cash for a lock set until absolutely necessary  .

For all the hassle, why not send the barrel into Keys Galore in Chalk Farm, London and they'll cut you a new key?

i searched the house for my key and eventually found it, in the seat lock!
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

write the key code down!!!!!

i had a cbr600 a few years back and lost the key, i was on the phone to my local dealer when the lady on the phone said "look in your service book, some dealers write the numbers in the front of the book", and there it was, £4.50 and 4 days later i had new key. very lucky boy!!

easy done!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear the key STILL hasn't turned up! 8O Amazed nobody handed in to your local shops or the bank if you maybe dropped it walking back to the bike.Sometimes honest folk hand them to the police so have you also tried the local stations round the area the bank is in? Just a thought...Good luck tho Murray..
