Stock vs replacement CCT's

Post by Gerrit »

Now that the bike is going well again, I am concerned about all the reports I see regardiung failing CCT's

As I am not the 1st owner of my Storm, I am not sure if the CCT's have been replaced...

Is it easy to spot the difference?

I do not want to go through all the hassle of buying CCT's only to find that there are replacement units on the bike already.

regards,
Gerrit

If you have some basic tools and a bit of mechanical skills I would advise you to do the stopper mod to the ones fitted to the bike, then you can run them till they fail and have no worries about bending valves.

You then dont need to buy new ones till the old ones stop working.

The details are in the workshop section, people on here will help with any questions
