Well in the end the paddock stand saga concluded with a pair of BikeTek stands which worked fine. However...... the rear stand was easier to lift the bike on to, but then needed another person to help me lower the bike. My honda stand needs another person to help me put it on to the stand, but I can lower the bike on my own. So, there you go: BikeTek front and Honda rear. Job done! Tell you what though, compared to my 06 Blade, the SP2 is a fat b*stard (or do I just need to get down to the gym to build up my arms )
