do they fit?
I know the 2000 R1 mirrors fit the Storm. Does anyone know if the newer mirrors fit the VTR?

thx :!:

No they don't. Annoying, as they are cheaper than the 00 ones

Well, they fit actually, but the angle of the stalk makes them unusable. I recently bought some 00 ones, but tried out all the ones they had at the dealer before settling on these, and they were the only ones that gave a decent view (great view compared to the shite VTR ones!)

Thx 4 that! Do the R1 mirrors stick out much more?

The 00 R1 & R6 mirrors are they the same?

I broke my RH mirror when bumping into the side of the mirror ( :?:  :?: ) The glass just splintered!

"Do the R1 mirrors stick out much more?" More than the VTR standard? Not MUCH more, just enough more! Could be better (I'd prefer at least another inch out)

No the R6 and R1 mirrors aren't the same, least the ones I saw/tried aren't. Yamaha change their mirrors EVERY year it seems, and the change is in the angle of the bracket/stalk, hence why most of em are useless on the Storm.

Funnily, I was out at the weekend with a guy on an R1 (couple of years old) and he was complaining about how crap the mirrors were on his bike!

If only some engineer type would make something to go between the mirror bracket and the fairing (so like an inch thick metal plate?), I'd buy em for sure. Can't be that hard?

Have a look back over the last couple of months, somebody was doing them on here.
Rich.
