well i wasn't anywhere near the speed linit when i passed officer, honest
but the sign looked nice and it looks a big site, not a run down carry on camping type muddy field lol, with a big white building just off the entrance - not sure what that is?

didnt stop to look as i had a fazer, zthou and a fat bob to contend with, though i did pull over for a slash a bit further up the road to let them catch up

the villagey bit is a 1/4 mile straight road just past the campsite, on the oposite side of the road, which is handy, especially if tony comes along cos ive fixed my fuelling issues now lol

As I am off to germany till thursday night, I just finished packing all the camping kit onto the bike . just got to throw a change of clothes into tank bag on friday and I am good to go.

I doubth I will leave birmingham till 5.30 or 6, so expect me about 8pm.

Anyone going from the east? I will be going Droitwitch, Tenbury Wells, Leominster, Kington then in on A44, we could hook up if around teh same time?

Also, is anyone with local knowledge working out some routes for saturday & sunday rides? I only know the obvious routes like the A483 crossgates to Newtown and A44 out to Aberystwyth and the coast .But I assume there are some good roads round there that are less well known that we should try?

........My route home on sunday will be Crossgates, then A488 to Knighton then the A4113 to Ludlow then A4117 past Clee hill to Bewdley....stop by the river for chips! Anyone else heading that way?
