that narrow a road to bewdley & leominster is a nice run bud, went that way the other week.
it's all just been recently resurfaced and when i was on it there were no white lines, which is a bonus for us 2 wheelers
just further down the a44 is a turn off to devil's bridge - (the welsh one with waterfalls)
if you haven't been there before it's well worth stopping for half a hr for a shandy and a look around... popular bike place too, if it's a good day there will be shitloads in the carpark.
very nice run out and i'd imaging as its late in the seson there wont be much traffic on the roads.

i;ll also be working friday am, so will be riding down about 3pm, take my time and get there about 6ish, light enough to get a tent up... get some beers in etc, but looks like i'll be heading back saturday night as mrs cant get sunday off, so far...

Used to do a lot of green laning in that area following the route that the Welsh 2day enduro uses......the pub at devils bridge was one of our lunch stops, but it has been a while since I was there...........Used the same camp site back then as well.

so I have lots of maps of good routes round that area, but only if you are fitting knobblies to your Storm, and you dont mind getting stuck in a welsh bog!

Any locals got some reccomended routes to try on a road bike?

Edit 2 : But that don't include Devils Bridge which it should!!

then this for the sunday morning so the guys going south can go down the a40 then a4042 to m4 and the guys going midlands can head off on the a44 to leominster and the guys going to the north can go up the a470 then a483 towards welshpool e.t.c (see 3 legs coming off the circle)

1, What time is everyone planning on meeting up at the site

2, Is the camp site expecting a load of bikers

3, What's the plan for Friday night on arrival and pitching of course, is it off to the pub, or is it a chill and chat with a few beers on the
camp site, the later being what i like anyway

4, How far is the camp site from civilisation, ie supply shops, pubs, eating places (Indian) etc


PS. I'm not asking for a millatary operation plan, It's just to give me a bit of an idea of the game plan

Geodude,
we will need to get a collection of mobile numbers circulated, so those of us who are turning up late can find which pub you lot are in.

It will also be good for the saturday ride as we have some people arriving on the day, and I am sure some one will get lost.
