Hello, I'm new here on this forum.
Does someone out there know if there is possible to have a ordinary bar instead of clip on on this bike, and where to buy the required stuff like triple clamps and so. Want to remove all plastic and make a kind a streetfighter look.

Flat bar conversions.
Hi mate
I have one and am just about to fit it. There are 2 companies, both German- LSL or MFW that make flat bar conversions for the storm. The new top clamp fits over the original clamp and they are sold as a complete kit with Renthal bars, clamps, clamp covers, extended hoses.
The firestorm kit does require you to cut the fairing just below the mirror mounts to accomodate the bars. The bars are also raised 30mm and swept back 34deg.
Both conversions are around 150 UKP and are availible in the UK from M and P - http://www.mandp.co.uk or you can look at http://www.lsl.de or http://www.mfw-woolf.de and look for your local importer in Norway.
Both kits are engineered to a high standard and I had an LSL kit fitted to my old Thunderace and it added another 100 miles to its comfort range and made wheelies a doddle ;-)
Hope this helps
Cheers
